What’s On in Cambridgeshire: November 2026

Fireworks, Christmas lights switch-ons, festive fairs, gigs, comedy and the Cambridgeshire derby: the 25 best events in Cambridgeshire this November, plus the full calendar of 122 dates across the county.

November in Cambridgeshire starts with fireworks and ends with Christmas lights. Cambridge, Peterborough and St Ives all have big Bonfire Night displays in the first week, Ely Cathedral fills with its Christmas fair, and the switch-ons roll through Peterborough, Chatteris and St Neots before the month is out. In between there’s a Cambridgeshire derby at London Road, a winter literary festival and the first nights of the Wimpole and Botanic Garden light trails.

We’ve pulled together the 25 best events happening in Cambridgeshire this November to help you plan the run-up to Christmas.

Every event here comes from a published listing we checked in early November, but plans change, so check with the venue before you head out.
