4 events,Parker's Piece becomes a Christmas village with an open-air ice rink, big wheel, curling lanes, Alpine lodge, Christmas market, funfair and Santa visits. Entry is free but some attractions must be booked and can sell out. Open from 11.30am weekdays and 10am weekends, until 10pm or 11pm. An after-dark illuminated trail through the Wimpole Estate with brand-new installations for 2026, food and drink stalls and a glimpse of Father Christmas. Timed entry from 4.30pm on selected evenings until 3 January, booked through Ticketek. Tickets do not include daytime admission. Christmas trees decorated by community groups, charities and businesses fill the cathedral from 26 November to 6 January. The Arts Theatre's own family pantomime, with Matt Crosby as Dame Trott and Ian McKellen providing the pre-recorded voice of the Giant. Tickets from £10. Relaxed, BSL, captioned and audio described performances are scheduled in December. |
